Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Chrona.
By creating an account or using Chrona, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Chrona.
1. Who operates Chrona
Chrona is operated from Ukraine by an individual operator.

Chrona is not currently operated through a registered company under the name "Chrona".
2. What Chrona is
Chrona is a digital world-building and writing service. It may include tools for:
- creating fictional worlds;
- writing books, chapters, manuscripts, and scenes;
- writing screenplays;
- creating maps, timelines, and events;
- creating wiki entries if and when the currently coming-soon wiki feature becomes available;
- managing characters, locations, and story structures;
- uploading related media;
- exporting creative work.
- Chrona is currently provided as an MVP/beta service.
3. No paid services at this stage
Chrona does not currently offer:
- paid subscriptions;
- paid AI credits;
- paid digital goods;
- advertising-based monetization;
- public live checkout;
- paid in-app purchases.
- If paid features are introduced, these Terms and related payment, cancellation, and refund policies will be updated before those features become available.
4. Eligibility
You may use Chrona only if you are legally able to agree to these Terms. If you use Chrona on behalf of another person or organization, you represent that you have authority to do so.
Chrona is not intended for users who are not old enough to use online services under applicable law.
5. Your account
You are responsible for:
- keeping your login credentials secure;
- all activity under your account;
- providing accurate account information;
- promptly notifying us if you suspect unauthorized access.
- We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe your account is compromised, used abusively, or violates these Terms.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of the creative content you create or upload to Chrona.
This includes, for example:
- worlds;
- stories;
- manuscripts;
- screenplays;
- maps;
- wiki entries, if and when the coming-soon wiki feature becomes available;
- characters;
- locations;
- media you upload;
- exported creative files.
- By using Chrona, you grant us a limited license to host, store, process, display, transmit, back up, and operate your content only as needed to provide and maintain the service.
- This license does not transfer ownership of your content to us.
7. Your responsibilities for content
You are responsible for your content and for ensuring that you have the rights needed to upload, store, edit, and use it in Chrona.
You agree not to use Chrona to create, upload, store, or share content that:
- violates applicable law;
- infringes intellectual property rights;
- contains malware or harmful code;
- is intended to abuse, harass, threaten, or harm others;
- attempts to compromise the security of Chrona or third-party systems;
- violates privacy or confidentiality rights of others;
- is used for spam, fraud, or unauthorized commercial activity.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- attempt to access accounts, data, or systems without authorization;
- bypass or attack authentication, security, quotas, or rate limits;
- scrape or extract data in ways that harm the service;
- interfere with the normal operation of Chrona;
- reverse engineer parts of the service where prohibited by law;
- use Chrona to host malicious, illegal, or abusive content.
9. Service availability
Chrona is provided as an MVP/beta service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
We try to keep Chrona available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always available.
10. Data deletion and account termination
You may request account deletion through the account deletion flow where available.
After confirmed deletion, Chrona is designed to remove your account and owned content according to the Privacy Policy. Some data may remain where required for security, operational integrity, legal obligations, local browser storage, backups, or content contributed to worlds owned by other users.
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create security risks, or misuse the service.
11. Third-party services
Chrona may rely on third-party providers for hosting, security, email delivery, media storage, fonts, and authentication.
Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and policies.
12. Intellectual property of Chrona
Chrona, including its software, interface, design, branding, and service structure, is owned by the operator or its licensors.
These Terms do not give you ownership of Chrona's software, brand, or infrastructure.
13. Disclaimers
Chrona is provided "as is" and "as available".
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, and error-free operation.
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chrona and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot be limited under applicable law.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and may notify users through the service or by other reasonable means.
Your continued use of Chrona after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, unless mandatory consumer protection rules in your jurisdiction provide otherwise.
